Default FMS FM13... 112 or 114

I hear all sorts of great things about this cam, but no one seems to specify which one they have. So.. let me know!

Great cam. The LSA choice depends on your engine size, your mods, your goals, your rpm range and what kind of streetability you want. The 112LSA model with 4 degrees of advance ground in will make the most power under the curve for a stock displacement LS1 or LS2.

Well this will be in a standard LS1 block with stock 243 heads and a FAST intake. Exhaust specs are vague at the moment since this is going in a 3rd gen f-bod. This is a weekend car but not a pure drag machine. I would like my car to give the new boys a run for their money

Well my FM13 cam is on a 112 and my heads are stock 243 LS6 heads (unported just valve spring change Comp 921 duel spring kit and 7.40 pushrods). I bought mine new a few years ago from Futral and mine is on a 112+2 and from what I can understand the +2 is the advance that is ground into the cam and they told me then that the LS6 headed cars didnt need as much timing ground into the cam if memory serves me right but one of these other guys might know different. I also dont know if your a auto or stick car and modifications done to the car, I would call them and ask what they recommend. GOOD LUCK in you DECISION.

Not much difference, but I went with a 112 as Patrick G mentioned.

I'm wondering how my performance would differ using the F13 112 cam with my Dart225's instead of my F14 HL.

Automatic or M6? From what it sounds like you are putting it in, I would say go with the 112 LSA.

I went a best of 10.99@122 mph on his Trick Flow version F14HL cam on a 114LSA. This was on a stock bottom end full weight 2002 camaro Z28 A4. Car weighs 3600lbs with me in it.. Sounds like you are on the right track..

I'm running the 114+4 in my 383 with patriot heads, ported 90/90 set-up in my silverado ext. cab.. The only thing that sucks is the local shop that did my machine work said they installed the cam with a 4* advance and was supposed to fix it to straight up, but the dyno charts show otherwise. So I'm really running a F13 - 114+8 LSA in a 383! The low-end is sick! I need to get it fixed though cause it's peaking 5500-5600 rpms and taking full potential of the cam. I really like the 114 LSA

Good cam I have the f13 on a 114lsa with afr heads in an 2002 ws6 a4 and made 433hp and 413lbs . It makes very good low and mid range power and it peaks at about 6200 rpm.

I had it in my old A4 '02 Z28 but mine was on a 114 LSA. It put down a little over 380 at the tires
