I was shifting mine at 6900 but I lowered it to 6800 to leave more room since my PT4000 is a shade looser than my old stall.

On my M6 I shift at 6700, rev limit 7k. Peak power with this cam was ~6300 and didn't start falling until 6500. Virtually the same peak points on my stock LS1 241 headed motor and a stock LS6 243 headed motor. Good luck,

Larry

Shift it as high as you feel comfortable. I shifted my F13 @6700. 6850 limiter. It will idle at the stock idle speed.

Mine's set to shift at 6500. We tried 6800, but 6500 just worked better with my setup. Great cam nonetheless.....sounds mean at idle and makes awesome power in the midrange and top-end. Mine idles at 850.

A little update: Got everything install. Sounds great. I set the idle to 800, and rev limit to 6700. I shift between 6300-6500.

Thanks for the help guys.

Just out of curiosity do you guys get any smoke out of your exhaust ? It almost looks like steam?
