TSP 231/237 and JPR S1 LS6 heads dyno
Today I finally got to the dyno to go tune. Here is the setup.
TSP 231/237 cam.
JPR S1 LS6 heads comp 987 springs - stock valves, not milled.
Ford 9'' rear with 4.30 gears
Kooks 1-3/4 headers/ypipe
ASP pulley
Bauer TB
LS6 intake
lid, filter, ftra, etc.
After all was said and done it put down 420rwhp, 377 rwtq. This was done with filter in and no shortbelt, cutout open. Stock driveshaft, no aluminum flywheel, no BS.
There is still more left in it. The air/fuel needs a little more tweaking, and I didn't have a chance to mess with the timing - its still completely stock.
I was more than pleased with the results. Now its off to the track to get the important numbers

That's some stout numbers thru a 9 bolt in my book. I'm sure you'll get some bad feedback though, hell I did with my combo because I used "budget" heads. But prove them all wrong with the track times!!

Sorry guys, I forgot to put it in the original post -- the car is a 6 speed.
Yes I know it isn't outrageous power - but the car did 430 untuned with the 10 bolt under the car, then with nothing else changed except installing the rear the car dynoed 401 and I had to work it up to 420

Thanks! I'm not sure what the stock timing is - I'd have to check my edit file. Now its time to lighten her up and get it to the track.

Not too shabby. I made 411 through the A4 4400 stall with 373's and JPR's S2 LS6 heads & a TR224. U cant go wrong with his heads. Good Luck U gotta pretty stout cam there.

I like the results through the 9 inch, were did you get it dyno'd? what size valves do the stg1 ls6 heads have? any chance of seeing a graph?

Re: TSP 231/237 and JPR S1 LS6 heads dyno
I was at Dynolab in Marietta. I don't have a scanner to get the graph up. Basically the torque is above 300 from 3K all the way to redline, and is above 350 from about 3800 to around 6200. The hp is above 300 from about 4200 up. The cam "peaks" up around 6500 and makes above 400hp from 5700 up to redline. The cam really never "peaks per say. I bet if I ran it out to about 7K it would get interesting!

Right on the money for the loss in power from the rear. I lost 27rwhp, and you lost 29rwhp. Good job with the tuning dude! That's impressive.

Good numbers on stock valves.
What made you choose S1 LS6 Heads over Joe's SII LS1 heads? Just curious because I assume there was a significant cost to acquire the LS6 cores.
