my buddy blkbird is running unported LS6 heads and the hotcam on his firebird and i think makes around 380-390rwhp. so i think with just some stage 2 LS6 heads u can definitely get that number.

While my advice is horribly tainted the AFR 205's are a no brainer....

Dont know a single customer who has tried a set and wasn't completely satisfied.

Here is a thread pertinent to your decision

http://https://ls1tech.com/forums/sh...hlight=205+afr

You will never question your decision down the road if you step up and buy quality the first time....no matter what purchase you are making.

Heads are the bigest investment you will make regarding the power output of your engine....dont skimp if you dont have to.

Feel free to reach me at AFR directly if yuo have any questions or would like some advise pertaining to your combination

Regards,
Tony

If you want to get every last bit of power and you have the money the AFR is the best.If you are on a budget like I was, their are a lot of really good heads out their for the money.PRC,Patriot,Dart,Tea,and on and on.It all depends on your budget. If I could of afforded it, I would of got the AFR's.

Hell yes, I have spoken to Tony myself excellent advice from a guy that knows his stuff through and through. You won't get better service anywhere, I've been planning on Mongoose 205's for over a year now and have just recentely come to a decission for a cam to compliment it. I've had the same mind set Tony was talking about ever since I started looking for my car 5 years ago. Get what you want the first time around otherwise you'll end up spending more money in the long run! For a good streetable, driveable comfortable power range 205 AFR's CANNOT be beaten... some will make more peak hp but you'll sacrafice torque and driveablity... so it depends on what you want but if its not a track car... then get the 205's.... I will be this winter have a set ready to be shipped to Canada for me Tony.
