Default any 11 second cam only's here? VIDS PLEASE

guys on a mustang forum dont believe a f-body can get into the 11's with just a cam..

I know I have seen it.. I just need a video to prove they're worth.

I love anything fast and I own both a ls powered truck and a mustang...

stock cui and stock heads.. other mods dont matter.. these guys know nothing about cars..

got proof of this? this would be great to see... and I believe it.. how much does a camaro or firebird weigh stock?

12 flat is close enough to 11's that a tail wind will net 11's.........

great thanks...

heavier than a new s197 for sure...

they dont understand that for cheaper than a supercharger or turbo setup and supporting mods, you can have a stroker motor and n2o kit and be in the 10's with a f-body... or a damn truck for that matter..

all hail chevy.

yeah the night we ran we forgot the camera but i have a vid of when i was stock internal with some bolt ons and a ss3600 stall...dont mind me hitting the rev limiter either...there goes my possible 11.4s

http://lsx.streetfire.net/search/sto...f500e042ac.htm

Also the 10.95 was done with stock ls6 intake, stock 10 bolt rear with 3.23 gears, and a mid size 230/230 cam no huge duration...with my 2 amps and sub in the trunk ...raceweight was around 3365 lbs

not true with a more -da i plan on being in the 10.80s...

and my car is by no means maxed out...if i were to throw in 4.10s with taller tires, get a 90/90 intake, and throw in a trex with a 4400 stall... i could do it stock weight...

i would say i have taken off about 200lbs from my car.. so add 2 tenths for full weight

11.92@114 with tr224 cam, stock heads, 2000M6 SS, full weight,Pacesetter LT,SLP cai, UD, LS6 intake, ported tb and maf, 160 therm, msd plugs, Tune, slp loudmouth catback, moser 12 boltw/4.10s, spohn lower control arms, spohn relocation brackets, spohn adj. torque arm, NO Front swaybar, spohn rear sway bar, qa1 r series on all four corners w/ 275 springs up front, ls7 clutch. Not to bad for whats done to it. You can make all the power in the world but if you can't get it to the ground then its useless. My car runs good because of my suspension and gearing, it puts me right in my powerband all the time. I would like to think I also have the driver mod too. Hoping to run 11.70 by the end of the year.
