nice....thanks for posting up the times. I just got mine installed and fired up. I took a few hours and smoothed out the inj. bosses on the runner roofs and just cleaned up some of the horrible casting flash. It looks to be very closely matched to the ports on my CNC'd L92's. I hope mine picks up that much.

anyways...serious congrats, and good luck this weekend at PINKS.

Wow! Solid gains.

Thanks for posting your results. I've done some flow bench testing and will post up a thread in the next few days. It looks like Edelbrock got the runner lengths in the sweet spot on this intake. Match porting the injector bumps down will help some. That means there's more left in these intakes. I really appreciate that bergers bolted the box stock intake on and ran it down the track. Perfect comparison. Well done sir!

So both of these runs were on the same day, you just swapped intakes between runs?

X2 , and I might have missed it in an earlier post but what intake was on the car before?
Just curious because my setup sounds very similar to yours and if I can see gains similar to yours even with a ported version I would probably consider it. Also, were you using an elbow to the tb, or just a carb style tb?
Sorry for all of the questions but this has me very apprehensive about this intake.

Old manifold was a GM L92 carbed manifold. We are running a proform carb and a 6010 box.

It will be interesting to see what the Super Victor looks like.
Question:
Wouldn't it be a good idea to make the #1,#2,#7,#8 runners shorter to more closely match the #3,#4,#5,#6 runners? Seems to me they could cast the plenum longer front to back and have damn near equal length runners and a larger plenum. Win, win.
Thoughts?????

It's still a bit early to tell, but as long as you can fit it under your hood the XT intake should fit your combination nicely.

That's what a cowl hood is for.

I have a extra set that is new in the package if you can't find any. They come 2 per package so you only need 4 packs. They did not know that when I ordered mine.
