elbow and tb or 4 barrel tb on vic jr?
well i see people are using the 4 barrel setups with success....
should i run a 4 barrel or the wilson elbow and fast tb?
i already have the elbow, it came with the deal... so id just sell it and the price would be close enough so money really isnt an issue unless your talking 800 bucks for a 4 barrel but the accufabs are fairly priced
which 4 barrel should i go with?

If you are thinking of using a single plane and a 4BBL throttle body you need a specific cam for that application. It will be a lot different than the usual LS1 cam. What rpm do you plan to spin? Is this a race car?

not a race car... but the curb weight is only 2700 so im not too worried about low end tq.... ill spin it as high as itll take with arp rod bolts.... 6500-7k i guess?
what kind of cam should i be looking at for the 4 barrel?
will i be good with the 228r and the wilson elbow/ tb?

I've got a 346 with a ported Vic Jr and edelbrock 4150 TB and the driveability/torque/HP is hugely improved over the LS6 stock TB setup. The car would surge with the LS6...I can now shift into 5th @ 40 mph 1200 rpm and pull away cleanly. Do the 4150, elbows are lame unless your throwing boost at the motor.
