Default custom cold air intake

I just got my cold air intake fabricated from wetzel fab. I just got it in the car and wanted to post up some pics and see what you guys thought. The kit is made up of an elbow coupling, stainless intake pipe, stainless partition, and a K&N filter. The stock MAF and the coupling that connects the MAF to the stock air box were reused. The piping used was 4 inch stainless. The kit also included a seal for on top of the heat shield so when the hood is closed there is a nice tight seal between the hood and heat shield, as well as a breather filter that replaces the hose line that went from the stock intake pipe to the cylinder head. Here are some pics taken during the install. Thanks to Joe and Scott for all the work done.

I'm not quite sure what the gains were after the install. I can tell you that after 10 min of hard driving with zero cool down time the stainless pipe right before the TB measured 64 degrees with a temp gun. i was surprised that when you slam on the gas you can hear a slight woosh sound from the intake sucking in more air.

intake was installed after removing a stock airbox with a stock filter. so we r hoping for good results. when dyno time comes in the spring we will have more results.
