Default Wanting to port 243 heads help!!!

I have a ls1 with 243 heads and a Texas speed tv2 cam and a ls6 intake a much more and I have 11.9.1 compression the guy who built my motor said he made that compression and I want to port my heads but idk cause I want to keep the compression and just raise the cfm should I get them ported?

Porting won't effect compression if they leave the chamber alone or only remove small amounts of material. Most of the work will be done on the intake/exhaust ports and bowl area.
I will also add this.... Send them to a reputable shop not the cheapest shop it's not about the highest numbers.

Jist wanna double check here, are you sure it's not 10:9 compression instead of 11:9?

Mill the heads .030" and run a .040" head gasket
