I was reading about it on another forum and it can be bought for a single throttle body application. Supposedly to be out in a couple of months. We shall see on that. Edelbrock owns an aluminum foundry so it is no surprise that is made of aluminum. I have no other information. Myself I am looking hard at the Vararam product.

I read in a facebook group it is supposed to be around $3,000 but I just can't see it being that much. At that price point it would have to be better than custom sheet metal intakes. I hope this intake proves to be worthwhile and an upgrade over the LS3 so I don't have to go Super Vic with DBW 4150. The sign I saw for it said up to 7,000 RPM but I'm hoping it is good for 7500.

It would need some sort of a Y cable for the 2 throttles.
Would be interesting to see any results from it.

There are boxes on the market that allow you to run 2 throttle bodies.

Picture shows it with DBW throttles, no need for cables there.

But if using mechanical throttles, a suitable linkage or pedal to handle two cables would be needed.

At $3,000 they must be thinking very low volume production run with it.

I would expect it to be slightly more expensive to manufacture the the Holley Hi-Ram and therefore sell for slightly more, but not $3,000.!

I have heard $1,100 as well so who knows. I do know for a fact it is listed in their online catalog.

I would LOVE for this to be worthwhile....Only problem I see is how the **** I will plumb it for direct port without using internal spray bars lol haha.

It would probably be about the easiest manifold you'd ever have for a direct port system. The entire runners are very easy to see and identify, you might even be able to hide it underneath if the fuel rails dont get in the way too much.

just from what I can see it doesn't look like there will be room underneath, and putting them on top is out of the question lol

Pricing is really going to be dependent on how many they plan to produce. A run of 10,000 units will be cheaper per unit than a run of 1,000 units and will be priced accordingly. Looks like it's a 3-piece casting, so in respect to tooling it's not much worse than the Holley hi-ram.

It's on their website too. Scroll down to just beyond mid-page. "No photo available". http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/...ictor-ls.shtml

Personally, I'd run two 90mm plate kits on it...

Here's a dyno graph that has basically no informative or comparative value.

yea, and that stops at 6k...if I wanted to stop at 6k I would stay with the OEM LS3 intake....I want 7500. Would be nice if it would fit under a Corvette hood too lol
