im looking at what i need to run one of these set ups.. i know i need the tb either 4150 or 4500 depending on what i run.. BUt like which rails do i need,, injectors and overall can i run a lid like the ftp 104mm lid with 100mm maf. this is all going into a 2002 trans am backed by a th400 and lq9 408.. also what kind of cam would be ideal for this

no its a lq9 408 stroker high compression. 11 8 to 1 with ls3 heads..
would see small a typical amount of nitrous but not progressive
12 bolt with 373 gears th400 with a 4400 stall
mainly a weekend fun strip car.. maybe ill dd one day of the week to work

Then I would recommend the Victor Jr, 1,000+ CFM 4150 style throttle body, 1 7/8 headers and this camshaft: http://store.cammotion.com/street-ki...-port-camshaft
This will have you in a very similar build as the Dyno results in my signature. Depending on your raceweight, you can go low 10s to even 9s in a set up like yours that is well sorted out.
