Steam tube/cross over setup question...
What steam tubes do I use (fit under LS3 intake)? Valley cover is currently plugged (no knock sensors) due to engine was set up as a carb set up in a fox-body and he only had front tubes on the heads that we removed. I have another valley cover w/knock sensors and crossover tubes that I will be removing from my 98 LS1.
What is my best/easiest setup? Thanks,
It will be going in this...https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...ld-thread.html
I looked into it because I have a lot of steel braided hose in the bay and thought it would look cleaner if I ran some ports that would adapt to an fittings. ultimately though it was a lot of work for pretty minimal pay off since Id have to pull the intake manifold .

steam pockets. Go there scroll down to the first picture of the radiator
cap that is blue, read the 2 paragraphs below the pic. It's not to far from the top.
No, I did not read the entire site but steam is steam, it rises
to the very top, and where is that? I'm thinking right under the steam ports.
If you don't want to use them then please don't. It's a stupid idea to want to get the steam out of an engine anyway.
Take a look at the photos on the link below. Should be the last post on this page.
