Holley Billet 105mm Throttle Body
Looking at throttle bodies.... I stumbled across the Nick williams 102 mm for 390 dollars and the Holley 105 mm for 530 dollars.
My main quesition is why is it so much higher than the nick williams throttle body ?
Is it really that much better?
Here is some features of the Holley throttle body...
Holley’s BILLET LS Throttle Bodies are the BIGGEST BORE - MOST FEATURE LOADED available. Holley went back to the drawing board and built the ultimate air valve for your LS engine! This all new design boasts a 105 millimeter bore and a low RPM drive friendly taper. Innovative features like Idle Bleed Adjustment, TPS CLOCKER, and closable PCV Passage Valve, make them the ultimate throttle bodies for ease of installation and tuning. Regardless of whether you have a turbo, supercharger, or a big cam engine sucking gulps of air, Holley’s throttle bodies are maximized for your application. The barrier protection of the BLACK ANODIZED finish also offers up a modern tech look!

I think NWs are billet
Tusky, how big is your motor, are you FI? A ported LS2 TB maybe all you need. Im at 570+ with mine

Slowly putting money back for my big cube setup. Putting back money this week for my throttle body.
Lets just say it will bw north of 430 cubic inches.
All motor on pump gas and ill be hunting a low 10 sec-high 9 with my 6 speed.
Car go see alot of street miles as well. I notice the Holley 105mm throttle body features a couple extras to help surging/ bucking at low speeds.....
I jusr wondwe if anyone own one and have some real world data.....

105mm Holley here, works perfectly especially with the tapered floor although can't compare it. Clock - able TPS adjustability worth it alone IMO. Nicer quality TB. It's on a 383 now but it will go on my 416 build. The angle of the PCV fresh air tube points in an upward angle towards the underside of the hood, that sucks, so one negative.

I have a 250/258 cam and very little bucking and surging, i can lugg the car in 6th at 1000 rpm, its tuning like 64Post said.
A TB isnt fixing that unless its connecting to the PCM and is running HP tuners in the TPS, retunning the pcm while you drive
