Default Ls2 402 headers Jet Hot Vs Kooks?

I have a Ls2 402 with Jet Hot 1.75'' headers and I recently picked up a used set of Kooks 1 7/8 headers. My question is how much of a gain should I expect out of the swap and is it really worth the cost of swapping? I am debating on selling the Kooks and using the money for other projects. What does everyone think?

My friend had Pacesetter 1 3/4's and LS6 intake and changed to 1 7/8" stepped to 2" Kooks, with an unported FAST and went from 489rwhp to 540rwhp on a 408ci.

I would go with the American Racing 1-7/8 headers I they have a really nice merge colectors and I think you will see some improvement over the 1-3/4 header. I really wouldn't how much of an improvement though.

Did he change catbacks also? I cant see the headers giving more than 10 rwhp.

It looks like he changed to a Fast intake at the same time. Do you really only think that I would gain 10rwhp? It doesn't seem like it's worth the money for bigger headers.

If you are on a stock engine then yeah, i'll give you that one. But on a max effort H/C car or a stroker, then you bet your *** bigger headers will make more power. BUT, you can't choke them down with a mickey mouse 3" catback or you will lose all of your gains.
