Well Holley owns Weiand so it could be a Holley TB.
Peter talked about how they put the new intake car on a car down in Australia and it dropped three tenths, but I of course would like to see results from someone on here.

Seems there is only so much one can do given the under hood height restrictions of C5/C6. Longer runners will make more torque, shorter more hp don't think there is any magic left in these designs. It is a trade of hp for tq. A sheet metal will outflow but torque suffers at almost a 1-1 ratio with shorter runners.
The L76/LS3 flows about the same as a FAST and of course the L92/LS3 heads will flow more.

I don't know if it will change with the production version, but the throttle body only uses 4 bolts as opposed to the 5 used with the FAST 90/90. I wonder if you have to buy their throttle body to use a 90mm. I also would like to see a realworld test between it and the FAST...even though I probably will be keeping my FAST 90/90 setup.

I was going to be buying a FAST 78 to install this winter. Guess I'll wait till March and put one of these on instead.
And if someone from Weiland is reading this...YES to a red intake!

I keep going back to when SLP first released their headers and claimed a 50hp gain because they were tuuned length headers. Plently of people who had them, and installed heads and cams realized that they were junk for high rpm performance. I remember people swapping out SLP's to Mac mid length headers and gaining 15-20hp up top.
This sounds like the Weiand might be a great intake for max power between idle and 6000rpm.

I have an L92 engine that we will be doing some dyno testing. We will play with cams, valve springs and intake manifolds.
I should be able to test the Warrior Manifold against a stock L76 Intake.
We are shooting for just after the PRI show.
For the Street cars with a L92/LS3 head upgrade this manifold will enhance the drivability. While I know there are a few guys who want more RMP band there is a much larger market that needs the mid range.
Cool Intake!

At first I thought the color was kinda Gunmetal-ish but its actually black right? Still looks nicer. I can't complain about my FAST set up as it has help net me about 470 to the wheels (NA) on my 346 that does not have the "best" heads nor the biggest cam on the market.
But I would be in, if it can hold up to its claims and when they are proven.

Will it actually help TQ down low compared to an LS6?
Here is why:
It is common knowledge that larger ports slow down intake velocity.
So a stock LS6 should be the best up to, say... 3000 RPM????
(I could be wrong about this.... just a guess)
Then the Weiand from 3000 RPM to 6000 RPM???
Then the FAST from 6000 to 7000 RPM???
This Weiand may work best for 4L60-E cars that need the TQ, but don't operate very well over 6500 RPM?
Can't wait to find out!

dam looks pretty nice , id choose it over a fast
bad thing is i have a LS2 , what good is power dropping at 62/6300 when stock redline is 6500
id like to have full power alot closer to that 6500 , with shift points just a couple hundred higher
even still id be all over 1 for mine , id rather not have nitrous ports , i want a stock looking intake , that is alot better
