Default bluemaxx 90 mm or Fast 92mm throttlebody

I just bought my ported fast 92 intake manifold and looking for a throttle body that doesn't stick. I heard bluemaxx got their problem fixed and wanted to know who's running them.

About 74 customers have had them installed at the shop with ZERO issues since BlueMaxx fixed their bearing issue in the very beginning.

Rest assured, if you do have any problems We will stand behind it and take care of you.

The only Fast 92mm TB that I have seen had way too much return spring pressure IMO. Very hard to control light throttle.

Due to price, it looks like PTM is the one to use. Looks like the others better catch up!

Can't shortcut the quality on ours & the chinese keep buying up all the Aluminum & driving the price up so no way to do ours for less. We also use a stainless shaft & our blade is made of brass to control the expansion thatleads to sticking issues. Wish we could,

The PTM 92mm tb is 100% American made. It also uses a tool steel shaft and a brass blade. There is no less quality in the PTM 92mm tb because the price is less than other manufacturers. Quality is the number 1 priority for the PTM product.

I guess it would save us some production costs to use tool steel over Stainless Steel.....

A post like that implies that somehow the PTM throttle body is a lower quality part because it uses a different shaft material & that is absolutely not correct. That is nothing more than a direct attempt to make possible consumers think the PTM quality is not top notch. That is just simply not at all true.

I have seen the RevXtreme throttlebody & tons of the PTM throttle bodies & I consider both of them to be top notch!

I can personally tell you guys I can't even remember the last time we had a issue with a PTM throttle body! While other throttle body companies have occassional idle/sticking issues, the PTM throttle body always comes through for the customer.

PTM, Nick Williams, Fast 92mm, and The RevX throttle bodies all look like quality parts IMHO.

But what do I know I've only sold a few thousand throttlebodies...

I have a NW, but having dealt with Terry Wilkes in the past, if he has anything to do with the PTM you can be sure it's a fine product.

I Installed my FAST 92mm tb saturday, and i have no issues of it sticking or other, it is a very nice piece. I do have to agree with the above post that the throttle return springs are very stiff, and hard to control light throttle, but i am sure i will get used to it, and besides who needs light throttle at the track.

there are absolutely NO ISSUES with the new FAST 92 TBs. They are a very fine product.

I have not seen a REVx in person, but it looks like a fine TB as well.
