Default Gains of LS3 Over LS6 Intake Manifold?

Did a quick search and didn't come up with anything. How much is the LS3 beneficial over the LS6 intake manifold? ...rwhp & rwtq wise?

I dont know about the design of the LS3 manifold being better but you can't really compare these to one another because the LS3 only works on L92/LS3 heads and the LS6 only works with cathedral port LS1/LS6/LS2 heads. The are not interchangeable....

They are not interchangable intakes, thus no comparisons.

oh i understand that completely due to the runners, etc. being completely different on the ports... which is why i suppose you guys are right on why there would be no comparisons

I have always wondered, what would happen if you did mismatch ports on intake/heads? I assume the ports line up, so if you put an LS7 or LS3 intake on, and the port seals surrounded the holes on the heads, wouldn't it work? Anyone every try?

different ports, they won't seal to each other and I don't think you could get them to seal easily....

more so the deck and mounting surface would have to sit flush... doesn't exactly matter whether the ports are the same

Hold it down with a bag of potatoes because the bolt holes won't line up either. Who cares whether is sits flush..Bottom line is they don't fit!

Cathedral ports versus rectangular ports, different bolt spacing where they mount, and more. Not a good comparison!

I don't think thats a big difference because the LS6 intake outflows the lame LS2 and the LS2 has a 90mm tb.

True LOL. Although I do believe that the LS3/L76 intake also outflows the LS2 intake if one could ever even fairly compare the two.
