Default Best all out cathedral port intake, on a 402

Intake, TB, looking to see what is out there. I've got a Mamo ported 90-90 on there now, just wanting to see if there is more left on the table.

Cam specs in the 245-257 range.

I am in the same boat as you. I have no clue on what to do for intake. Seems there are some cool things coming out recently but not enough data to really make a decision. Looks like a ported 92 is all that is really proven and that's sad because I feel the fast leaves some on the table.

I agree. I'm not ready to spend big bucks and take a chance on an unproven intake and would rather find other ways to maximize my setup.

In my opinion the only way to not spend too much and get something better than a fast 92 is to get a vic jr with a tb on top of it.

With the available top mount tb intakes out there, the need for a sheetmetal with front mount tb is no longer needed. Better distribution from a top mount. Just getting one to fit with that works for your setup is the hard part.

Guys, this is just a suggestion about the different forums. The cathedral port engines are Gen III engines for the most part. Things like intake manifolds, headers and other externally-mounted components really belong in an external engine forum.

So . . . a thread like Cathedral Port Intake Manifolds really belongs in Gen III External Engine. You'll probably get more comments there.

I would like to see a comparison to an F-body setup, not a pick up. That would not fit in any condition on these cars unless you removed the hood. Thanks for the info either way.

the 4bbl will fit fine all you have to do is loose some of the cowl. Hell throw the k frame spacers on there and you could probably get it to fit underneath the cowl.

Steve - Thanks for the tip. Most of the posters here have Gen IV engines hence the thread in Gen IV section.
