You really need to tell us what your wanting to do with the motor and car. Daily driver street car, race car, dyno queen, turbo, nitrous, etc.

LS7 S & LS7 R camshafts from TSP.
My LS7R cam made 550 cam only & 600+ with PRC LS7 heads on a LS7 intake!!

Use the PRC EHT spring kit, it will live a very long life even with these larger valves that you find on the LS7 engines

My custom spec (I spec'd it) made 553rwhp and 511rwtrq. Stock LS7 heads Stock LS7 intake, through a ford 9", 11.2:1 compression.

Its a 235/250 .65X lifts. Drives like stock.

LS1 or LS7 ??

Best cam is a custom ground cam to meet your driving requirements. "On the shelf cams" can be decent (as long as your setup matches what the cam was setup for) but for the same money you can have a cam that is ground to you and your cars exact requirements.

You don't build a car around a cam, you cam it for how the car is built and how you want to drive it.

This is the direction I would go in. We offer custom ground cams. I can send you a questionnaire to fill out and we'll spec a cam based on how you answer the questions.

im asking about the LS7, i make my posts short and to the point
i know that camshafts should be spec'd for how i plan on using the engine/car, that a boost cam is not the same as All motor one.

i just wanted to see what cams(all of them) people are using for LS7.

Again i appreciate everyones info. Thank You

Ragin Racin has 4 of the most diverse cams out there for the LS7. Each one has a different use. They range from Stock drivability to radical. Our Stalker and Lethal Cams are the most popular. Google those and you will get more information than you were ever looking for.

Stalker- 224/246 115
Lethal - 232/250 113
Punisher - 236/256 111
Striker - 244/256 111

Give me a call and we can discuss the cams or a custom grind.

Shawn
