Either or would be fine, we use Wiesco they offer more features for the money. BUT to address your statement
The parts do not matter, you could use a Scat crank and rods and the cheapest piston you can find. It's who builds it and who tunes it and how it's maintained that determines how good it is and how long it will last.
Not looking to cheap out on the price,
just looking for the best piston. I want bulletproof parts.

Ive used diamond's for years and still continue to do so its just a preference i guess.
I do like their new hard anodize coating they offer now its a little pricey but looks to be very durable.

Both are great pistons and I use both. If this is an NA only engine I would also consider Mahle motorsports Powerpak. They come with rings and coated skirt also. They are a 4032 alloy, so not as strong as the 2618, but for NA use you aren't going to break either. The 4032 allows you to run less piston to wall clearance and they will last longer and be quieter on cold start up

I run Diamond. The old Diamonds had a short skirt and no coating. The new set came with longer skirts and they are coated. Same price as before. Texas speed hooked me up!
I would do Wiseco next time just to see how good they are. All I hear are good things.

We offer both options, but we build about 90% of our engines with Wiseco parts. Give us a call we stock tons or Wiseco & offer very very competitve prices!!!
