c6z ls7 440...what u guys think????
Ok...I am getting ready to send my o6 z06 to vengeance for heads intake and new clutch/drivetrain hopefully to hit 600 to the wheels...Should I go ahead and build a 440 stroker or just be done with the car for a while..How much power would a 440 produce...I wouldn't think that much....?????

there are many threads in this section. start reading.
seems like you will be spending a decent amount of change on your upcoming visit so i would say do it while everything is getting done. why go back in later an spend more money to tear the car down again? use the 440 to eat up some of the cam and slightly better power curve. sell your crank. maybe even a 100shot...if ya want

All things considered if you are already doing heads/cam on the C6 Z06 the additional items for 440 cubic inches would be:
Labor to R&R Shortblock
Rotating Assembly
Few more misc gaskets
Machine shop Fees.. You already have the block to do it.
That being said, for roughly the same investment you skip the heads and add an A&A T Trim/Fuel System and make 650rwhp on a SOFT tune/minimal boost... We have many C6 Z06s making high 700s on stock shortblocks and they are doing just fine.
Ahh well, lets get the C6 LS3 done first then on to the C6Z Cya soon!!!

No need for heads if going with forced induction... Mid 700s on RWHP on the stock bottom end...
