Default LS1 Valley Cover on a LS3???
Why can't I use a LS1 valley cover on a LS3?
Different mounting holes or what?

And the Oil passage is different for the Oil Pressure Sensor. Also the Knock Sensors are not in the Valley on the LS3.

I knew the knock sensors were in the block on the LS3 but, I didn't know
about the oil passage and oil pressure sensor.

I would also plug the dod oil passages that stick up in the lifter valley. It's cheap insurance aginst the o rings leaking on the LS3 cover. The Ls1 valve covers on the pass. side need to be modified to clear the off set rockers
