Default 402/408 w/ stock l92 heads and l76 intake, power

Anyone have a ~400 ci with stock l92 heads and l76 intake, maybe a cam too? What power/torque did you make and do you have a dyno graph.

I'm in the process of building a 402 with LS3 heads now. It'll have an LS3 intake, and I'm planning on running a cam similar to the Spinmonster cam, though I haven't really worked out my lsa decision yet. My expectation based on discussions with Spinmonster and others is that the motor should make roughly 525 RWHP with a good torque curve. Unfortunately, this is all speculation at this point, because the motor isn't complete yet.

I HAD a 402ci w/ported(not stock)l92 and l76. I made 517hp 470tq in a m6 car/12 bolt w/4.11's. I still have the 402ci,just switched to a vic jr set up.

custom cam from Pat G,and a local shop in the detroit area did several sets ti'll they found what works. then they ported mine. I'm removing them for the trick flow ls3 head when it comes out. I got 530hp with the vic jr set up(dyno sheet has been posted in the section)When i loose the low edelbrock elbow for the better flowing Aarons i'm told i should see another 20hp from those who tested it.

I spoke with ed at tfs. He told me little. like they will be doing a different valve angle and will shrink the 2.16 down to a 2.10 valve. He says when done they will out flow and perform a ported l92 head or it's not worth building the heads. I hope they arrive soon,i want to be the first kid on the block to get them.
