what cam to go with size?

what cam to go with size?

well its time to cam my Z28, i want to put a noticeable sound but not go over stock to much im planing on doing new lifters, push rods, valve springs, timing chain, and oil pump, only prob is i dont know whos got the best out right now for what i wanna do, so if you could help id appreciate it..

If you don't want much over stock, then hotcam.. Dunno if it'd hardly be worth the swap, but it's not much over stock.. that or a cheater or old man cam.

Also, might just want to keep stock lifters unless you're dead set on pulling the heads.

yeah ill be dropping the motor from the bottom so why not lol i just want a cam that has good sound it CAN be over stock but not to were ill have to change the heads i just want the bigest i can go before all that has to come into play lol

You can run a good sized cam without having to fly cut, if that's what you're referring to. If you mean you don't want your heads to be the flow restriction, then you can find a cam to equally match that as well. Just call some of the vendors or pm some of them and get them to spec you a custom cam to fit your goals.
