Exclamation *** CAUTION*** Crankshaft ****

Well here it is. I waited 14 weeks and for it. It is a 4.100 Billet Center Weighted Crank made by Winberg Crankshafts. This thing is a killer. As you can tell by the pictures I had it also micro polished. If you are building I would say to look into their stuff.

Enjoy, I almost don't want to use it.

You can also follow the engine and car build here :

Very nice but I am surprised to see a reluctor wheel on it. I would have thought to say the level of engine that requires such a crankshaft would use something a little better than the factory style pick-up. Maybe using an external crank trigger or distributor? Regardless very nice. What is the application?

WOW....a piece of ART! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks

I don't plan on running the reluctor wheel.

As for the weight it is right at the 44lb range.

As you see it with the polish it would be roughly $4000. But it would depend on how much weight it took to balance it. Most shops charge you for the metal and that can make it vary.

It will be going in a 439ci tall deck LS motor. I will have the block next weekend so maybe now I can get this motor together.

4.100 stroke with tall deck, what length rod you planned to run and from who? Looks good.

Winberg cranks......... just ordered one for a 5.3 block

Make sure to order the small base circle cam! Ask me know I know lol.
Gm in the infinite wisdom did not raise the cam tunnel, and running a large stroke with a long rod (H beam even) causes some problems with cam clearancing.
You should prob be ok with the 4.100 stroke though.
We ran into issues with a 4.600 crank.

Very nice. Windberg makes awesome stuff for sure!

Like you said you hate even using it as it should have it's own pillar to sit on and look down on the rest of us!

Eddie is running RHS tall deck with raised cam.

are you referring to LSX tall deck?

Yes, I was referring to the GM piece. I should have known he would use the RHS. Better choice but more money obviously. And that does not seem to be a problem with this build though. Esp when the crankshaft costs 2 times the GMPP LSX Tall deck block.
