i ran a tr6 and the autolite equivalent in mine n/a and went 1 range colder spraying a small shot. you will get quite a few different opinions on heat range so take my opinion with a grain of salt lol. i kept the colder plugs in (think they are ngk tr7 ie) and didn't foul so a 7 or equivalent range will probably last if tune is good.
