The AFM connector in the pics below is broken and I am wonering what the best course of action is. I am putting the motor in a 1967 C10 pickup and I had the ECM programmed by Speartech. I am getting a P3401, P3425, and P3441, so I am trying to decide if I should just have my ECM reflashed to eliminate the DOD/AFM, or if I should replace this connector and keep the DOD. If I do replace it, what is involved (is this a 2 piece plug that requires the valley cover to be removed)? If I don't keep it, is there any kind of plug to fill the hole in the valley cover? Please someone help.

Here is what it looks like when not broken. There is a retainlng clip on the underside, so it was easier for me to remove it with the valley cover off. Plus depending if the connector was broken while installed, you might still have some parts left inside.

I would be interested in purchasing your broken connector... I modified mine for clearance issues and would like to modify another one to get the right connector end again.

Thanks, I appreciate the response. I have no use for the broken one, so you can have it for shipping costs. Just PM me your address. If you possible can, I would really appreciate some detailed pics of the connector that it plugs into inside the block.

Thanks for the info. It looks like the gasket is built in to the cover, so I can pull it off and put it right back on again. Is this correct? Is the intake manifold the same way (gasket built in)?

Thanks, mine only has about 11K on it, so hopefully I'll be OK.
