Give us a call we have engine dyno data from developing our LS3 camshafts that I think will help us to give you some great options. 2700lbs is awesome!!

Most custom grinds use comp lobes will have exh around 235* at .050 and intake around 228-232* at .050

Lobes vary from XER to LSL to LSK (yikes) sometimes depends what you want to go with. Call and ask around.

Shawn Miller at VA Speed has some very good cams for the LS3 heads.

With the milled heads you will have to be very careful of cam selection due to P to V issues... I believe you will need MUCH less cam than many would recommend. Give us a call our TRuTorq L2 or L3 will work extremely well in your combination. I could also cut you a custom grind if your needs dictate. Give us a call.

Thanks,
Shane

You've gotten some good advice here. Let me add LMR. In an otherwise stock LS3 with ARH longtubes, their stage II cam made 465rwhp/435rwtq through a T56 and Y pipe and drove VERY well in my 3700 lb f-body. In 2700 lbs, it would act like stock with a lope. PatG is also a very good option, as is Vengeance. The tune is key. With your setup, you'll be right at 500rwhp and close to 450rwtq, depending on how happy the dyno is.

I appreciate all the response's and info and will look at all these options. From what I am seeing it is much more difficult to choose the right cam for an l92/ls3 setup than for ls1's.I realize most any cam will make good power in this application but choosing the cam that will be the best for this, the first time is another thing.Looks like 450-500rwhp should be acheiveable, that should be pretty exciting in a 2700lb car with a six speed.
