Default Livernois Motorsports LS3 419 Stroker Shortblock Build

From time to time, I like to post photos other than vehicle builds. Below are some photos I shot in engine build this week of an LS3 stroker shortblock build.

Thanks for looking!

Regards,

Very nice work area. When it comes time to rebuild my ls2 427 I will take the drive north to your place.

Thank you!

Our engine builders are meticulous and lay out the parts for every job before they begin the build.

That is certainly a meticulously clean work station...a person would have no reservations at all on getting an engine built by you guys seeing that. Shows care and pride!

Nice shop...I wish I knew about you before I sent my truck to Georgia to be molested! It looks like you know what you're doing, so I have a question for you. Given specific engine dimensions, and several factors, someone that knows what they are doing should be able to fill in the blanks. For example, if you know the bore/stroke, cam, fuel injector size, and exhaust...you could figure out what would be the best size throttle body and intake setup to make the most power for that given engine. I'm sure there is an exact science to it all, and knowing all but one specific, one could use the rest to determine the missing variable to input. Or am I wrong about this?

Yes, with enough info, you should be able to "fill in the blanks"

I bet it took more time to set up those picture shots than it did to assemble the engine. LOL!

Nice work guys. Livernois is always top notch.

LOL

Every job gets the parts laid out like that before they begin the build.
