How much can you mill L92's before Intake alignment issues?

I wouldnt mill ls3 heads past .045 period

0.045 is the answer and yes, Milling them beyond 0.045 is not recommended. Hurts the flow in the chamber. Also with such a large intake valve, it's hard to throw duration at a cam without flycutting.

My heads are cut .020 and the block is .025

ls7 gasket both the vic jr and mast intake fit fine

100thou, no porting, stock manifold (L76 manifold) still fit and lined up. made big hp with factory ls2 cam and e85. 11.3 in 3700 lb car at 122mph. fly-cut pistons, but actually could get away with it.

If the short block is stock then piston to valve clearance would be more of a worry then the intake lining up. Keep in mind excessive milling can hurt flow.

Angle milling? I took 20cc off my chambers and still line up with stock style intakes.

FWIW: Mine were milled .030 originally and Richard did a couple thou cleanup pass when he ran the Stage 3 program through them. The block was also cleaned up a few thou when the Darton liners went in.
