L92 heads, flat tops, compression?

Default L92 heads, flat tops, compression?

I've tried the search but its so watered down I havent found the info I am looking for...

I am gonna be running an Lq4 block, LS2 pistons, and 823 L92 heads milled .020" with a stock L92/LS3 head gasket. What kind of compression ratio am I looking at? There are so many people who say L92 heads are 68cc, L92 heads are 70cc, 71cc...its hard to get a definitive answer.

The build is gonna be done with an LS3 intake, 92mm throttle body, bolt ons, and a G5X3 112 cam in my 2001 SS.

I got 10.8:1 using this website..http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/compstaticcalc.html

Stock chamber is 70cc, take 1cc per .006 milled. Stock Gasket I found was .053" thick. 3.62 Stroke, 4.00 Bore. Deck height at .008" above deck..range on a stock LS is .007"-.010".

That one seems to go over the actual by a tad..anyone have a better site or calculator feel free to post it.

I loaf at a friends dyno shop and when they install any cam in any motor they degree the cam and he keeps records of all the cam specs. I've seen several g5x3's come through and they are typically around the believed specs of 234/242 .601/.610 112+4 or 114+4. Some might be a hair larger on the durations and occasionally a +5 lsa but typically very close to these specs. We haven't installed mine yet but it will get degreed when we do.

Degreed my g5x3 the other day...came up with 234/243 .598/.611 111.5+4 107.5 icl...so still very close to the assumed specs all over tech. I am however awaiting a flycutting tool to cut reliefs for the intake valves on my setup. So it'll be a few more weeks before I have it all in the car snd running.
