Jesel hydraulic roller lifters? I've never heard of Jesel making hydraulic roller lifters. I've used their solid roller lifters in different applications.

Ok well slight change in plans....I am going to wait until I get my cam spec'd out before I start buying stuff like springs and lifters and such....so as of now I am collecting fittings for the fuel and trans cooler systems....Hopefully I can sell my GSXR soon and get the head castings ordered....

Which brings me to this question.....Would there be any benefit to doing any porting or polishing to the MAST 285's? Also what valves would be suggested for this application....I have been thinking Ti Intake valves and Inconel exhaust valves....any input here?

Well I sent an email out to Martin at Tick to see what his suggestions would be as far as a head/cam combo so once I get an email back I will report....unless he decides to stop in and post here...

$979.oo i looked @ JOHN B's 700rwhp engine and copied it just smaller.May sell my 408 block/crank/rods/bare l92's for 1800.oo this would by new Eagle 4.375 crank and rods i can pay the 1800 diff. to get the tall deck lsx block. LSX 479ci {all of these parts R owned except 4 Super Vic. } with a solid roller/Comp adj. stud mount rocker-arms/TFS Ls3 heads & Victor Super / Jr. for cheap.
I want 2 ask TIM Y not use MAST/TFS LS3 HEADS and not have 2 spend 5 grand for ls7 heads & intake he could get AI TO PORT THE TFS HEADS IF MORE FLOW WAS OR IS NEEDED.I WOULD THINK STOCK CNC TFS 255'S are better than any ported l92 thats Y i went with tfs
1000- 1200 to port l92's
1800 for a set of TFS LS3's

Ha I'm just looking to get multiple opinions....I am trying to build the best engine I can so I am trying to get the opinions from the best of the best....So for head choice and components I contacted Mr. Tooley, and for the cam specs I am going to see what Martin suggests....With the amount of money I am putting in this engine I want the best of the best...

Still waiting to hear back from Chris about exactly what head to go with, but I will probably end up going with one of his port jobs....The cam will come from Martin, and most everything else will come from Brian....These three guys have helped me more than anyone as far as the topend build goes...gotta spread the love back out amongst them....
