It was probably a early attempt of DI. Looks like the injector spays into the port. Thanks for sharing. Interesting for sure. Any casting numbers that may indicate a date?

They were probably worrying about carbon build-up on intake valves in direct injected motors and came-up with this idea.

Is that "don't ask?" :-? If it were cheap I'd love to bring those heads to my local shop just to see them try to pretend they've seen them before.
