aluminum 5.3 casting ### Sleeving? Hello world, who here know casting numbers to the aluminum 5.3 blocks to the ones are sleevable......
I have been told all aluminum 5.3 blocks CAN NOT be sleeved. I need to know what I'm looking at before I buy...
* I'm looking to have one resleeved by a vendor soon.

casting number This is one of the numbers that will work: 12571043 This number is cast on the front face of the block.

I guess the new MID wet sleeved block that you are doing for me is a #12571043?
You might want to think about posting some pictures of my block being machined etc, for some of the posters on this forum.

Mid Correct Mark. You got one of the three new blocks I have in stock. Another is for a shop customer in Texas the last is going into a Time Attack Corvette for a local shop I am sponsoring.
Have four more coming in to replenish my stock.

Kiwi , Tuskyz and I have talked over the ph quite a number of times and Steve and him are good he just needed that block number to reference it. Steve is doing the block and they've already talked about it.
