Yep, about a 60 day delay. That should put me around the time the Vararam intake manifold is introduced and hopefully some more of the Cam Motion LLSR camshafts come online. In the meantime I am eating bologna sandwiches.

Some new toys that I ordered back in January will be here Monday!

I'll be finishing my coil relocation, installing these parts, and pulling the matte hood wrap off this week. Then hopefully getting around to detailing it.

I appreciate it. It's a 6 speed. 1LE's were only available in a 6 speed. I'm not sure if I mentioned that in this thread that the car is a 1LE SS.

A local dealer had a 1LE last fall...burgundy colored with the Matte black stripes and splitters...murdered wheels, killer brakes and the 3.91 rear gears....The General's F-body equivalent to the Grand Sport Vette....base power with track suspension....very cool....

For a factory setup on a 3700-3800 lb car, it handles extremely well. I'm impressed. Not that this photo is completely on topic, but I got some of my new parts in yesterday and got them installed. Waiting to do install the front splitter. I need to put a clear bra on it first.

Looks sharp man! I'm thinkin about putting a small splitter on my C6Z, but I think it'll be more problems than its worth since the car is lopwered. Plus I can barely jack the ar up from the center of the front cross member as it is. I'd hate to have to jack it up from the sides.

You needed to use tall valve covers, correct? Anything you had to improvise on for that dimension change? Did you need to grind on the inside of the passenger cover like Speedtigger? Do the stock coil pack mounting brackets attach to the tall covers like stock? Do stock length ignition wires still reach? Anything else of note?

Yeah, the splitter I got is the same as the factory 1LE splitter, just carbon fiber to match.

Yes I did. Funny you mention that. When I originally got the rockers I had to grind the rail of the head to make room for them. What is funny about that whole situation is I checked the part number on the rocker stands, and called Jesel to confirm the rockers were correct. I was told they were. I double checked everything once bolted up, and the ratio and lift checked out. Once the car was started up however, a whole different story. While going over everything I noticed that two rockers were rubbing the valve covers. Not much I could do there because they were Carbon fiber. I thankfully have Kip on speed dial, and he triple checked with Jesel for me. Come to find out, they WEREN'T the correct rockers. They were the same specs, but their shape of the back of the rocker is different.

This is again why I will always recommend Cam Motion to everyone. Kip paid for the correct rockers out of his own pocket(for something that was not his fault) and got them shipped out to me right away. Whether or not he's getting money back from Jesel once I ship these back, I do not know. All I know is Cam Motion has the best customer service I have ever seen, with a kick-*** product to boot.

I'm going to post pictures of the differences here in just a minute.

p.s. I offered to pay for the new rockers simply because it wasn't Kip's fault. He insisted he would take care of it. I plan on building a SBC for my dad here within the next year as a surprise. Guess who I'm getting my stuff from?

Also, this is why I insist everyone double check everything prior to turning that key. I could have easily bolted down a rocker that was the wrong ratio and trashed my brand new heads, and block even. The car ran fine on the wrong rockers because everything was the same minus the shape of the back side of the rocker.

First set i had to grind clearance for

Correct rocker next to the old rocker
