Default Who to port l92/ls3 heads

So I'm new to the ls scene and from the research I've done the 823 heads that are on my l92 are good heads. So I'm thinking porting them should add a nice little increase.

Who has the best program? Customer service?

Point a noob in the right direction

We would be happy to help you with that. Feel free to contact us and we can walk you through some of your options. In the meantime here is a link to our services and pricing for you sending your heads in to be done: http://texas-speed.com/p-1388-prc-ls...d-porting.aspx

Frankenstein gets my vote. He did my LS7 heads and they look great.

Also, this guy made 551 / 504 to the wheels with FRH stage 1 LS3, a mild low lash solid roller from cam motion, 1 7/8 headers, stock compression, intake and tb.

Cam is a 236/246 114+3 in conjunction with BTR .660 springs

My TEA CNC Ls3 heads with a 235/247 114+2 made 640hp/550tq at the flywheel(9.5:1 408)....

I hear good things about Frankstein,Adcanced Induction,PRC(Texas speed does kill EvERYoNE on the price of there stage 1 port,it really is a deal of the day) just about all the CNC heads sold do well, how well starts to cost!!lol

Lots of good options really. I like Advanced Induction the best; I gained 51rwhp/60tq going from 2.05 valve 317's to ported 241's and a smaller cam. It was the highest dyno'ing 5.7 at 2 well known full time tuners in KY. Phil's designs focus more on small ports and efficiency than just flow numbers, and he'll tell you not to spend more coin on parts you may not need.

Frankenstein has the nicest looking program that I've seen. I just had set of stage 1 ls3 done and had him do tfs gen x 255 for my 416. Awesome work

There are a lot of great companies out there AI, Darwin@ Reher, TSP, Land Speed, TEA, WCCH and others. If you have a cam under 700 lift they all will be pretty much equal. Now when going over 700 lift there was only 2 people who could show that the heads Did Not stall past 700: Chris Frank & Darwin. There were only a few people who had Chris port there heads and they were on here saying that they aren't any better than any other Cnc program. I recommended 1 Sick Engine and you all know how that came out and I took the heads to SAM in which Chris said he wanted to see if they were as good as advertised.....I let him keep them for the day and his first statement was :I was shocked and they are what they're advertised. I've research Ai heads and they're good as advertised also. Darwin DOES great work but you will have to wait a minute as he does a lot of NHRA builds. Land Speed did a awesome build with a 416 and a solid roller 730+fwhp don't remember the exact number but over 730. In a typical hydraulic roller build the number will all be within a few Hp. Also I like companies that have different stages as all engine are not the same size.
