Default help please big ci/ high compression breaking up *UPDATE*

I have a 447 ci 14:1 compression on e85... up top it is breaking up around 6500 or higher. Right now I have a br7ef in it and they are gapped tight like .25 does anyone have any experience with this or can guide me in the right direction.

I'd ask the engine builder.

The plug should not be a issue. Ran those to 7700 on mine.

How is the valvetrain and ignition system

I don't believe it's floating valves it has pac .700" springs with plenty of seat pressure. On the data log you can see injector duty cycle drop down like the car missed out. Stock coils relocated with 7mm wires and I'm starting to think it may need a bigger wire

If it was missing it would go lean and duty cycle would go up. If closed loop is trying to correct it.

Not really easy to see what you have going on but coil dwell and your overall tune up could be a issue also. Has it ever reved over 6500 clean.
Will it free rev
What are the specs of the engine.

Problems I see the y pipe is killing it.
I would put tr6 in it
26-27 total
You need 80lb
Possible the fuel system is not up to the task. What size lines
What oil is in it.

10-30 vr1, -6an feed... the y pipe I don't think restricts it that car went 10.55@133 breaking up like it is not making any of the shifts and a 1.8 60'... I just switched to a tr6 gapped at .30-.32 and same thing... I'm thinking it's ignition or fuel related but it doesn't go lean.

I know all setups are different. But I ran a br7ef with my 445 at 12:1 gapped at .035. Now I'm running a br8 due to upping my nitrous. I didn't lose any MPH at all by switching to the colder plug. So I don't see that as your problem at all.

That oil is too thick for those lifters. They recommend no thicker than 5-40

My car with the 418 would blow the dual 3 off the car. 3.5 on mine.

-6 is too small with e85 and that much power.

Erl recommended the oil that's in it... as for the feed I know people using the stock feed. Fuel pressure doesn't drop, so if I switch to a -8 you think it'll fix it?

No you have a few things fighting you. The bigger line will help when you get it running right and making power.

ERL has not impressed me with the quality of work lately. Lots of errors and not taking responsibility for them.

Erl is not aware of the lifters you are using.

My 454 made power well past 7700

It made 604 to the tire... just don't understand what would cause high rpm stutter. Like its misfiring or on the limiter

3000. 12-1

Dyno is a tool I take it with a grain of salt. It does not simulate going down the race track. That was the first time I had been on the dyno in 10 years. Didn't learn anything other that it makes 590 from 6400 to 7700.
