First off let me say thank you to everyone. I bought a 2000 WS6 -6 spd TA about 4 months ago and I have gained a lot of knowledge from this site since then.
The car has about 210K miles on the original LS1 and although it still has decent power and compression (about 165-170 on each cylinder) I think I would like to upgrade to a 6.2L.
I have found a used L92 shortblock but since I am new to LS engines I wanted to ask the opinion of some of you that are more experienced, as to if the engine looks to be in good shape. It looks like it to me but like I said...I am new to LS engines and aluminum blocks in general.
The engine is said to have about 60K miles on it and came out of a 2008 Escalade. The gentleman is very knowledgeable about LS engines and it seems like he is being honest. Please let me know what you think. Also, what is the going price for an L92 shortblock?
Thanks to everyone in advance. I look forward to many years of learning on this site.

The cylinder walls look good.
As for price, that's hard to say. Keep in mind that the L92 is a Gen 4 engine and the LS1 is a Gen 3 engine. There are a lot of things that need to be done to make it work in your car. Knock sensors are in a different place, the reluctor wheel is 58 tooth and not 24, the cam sensor is in the front cover instead of in the rear of the engine block. For me all of that has to factor into the price.
This isn't going to be plug-n-play...

Thank you all for the replies. I really appreciate them. I thought the walls looked good also. I have done a lot of reading and thanks to this site I think I have a good handle on what all I need for the conversion. Such as: LS2 front cover plate with cam sensor and harness
LS3 Valley Tray Cover
New Cam
New lifters since this was a DOD engine
Tap the block on each side for knock sensors and buy relocation harness
Either buy converter for 58x or pull crank and replace 58x with 24x
If using LS3 intake I need to either use adapters for the fuel injector connectors or adapters for the o-rings.
If using LS3 intake I will need the MAP sensor adapter and harness
Need to address the 4 bolt vs. 3 bolt Throttle body (4 bolt to 3 bolt adapter or aftermarket Throttle body)
LS3 or L92 heads (depending if I think the sodium and hollow valve difference is that important to me)
Reprogram ECM
I'm sure I have missed a few things but I have several posts bookmarked that list conversion needs and options.
I have debated on an LS6 also. I know where one is that has about 50K on it out of a 2004 CTS-V. It is complete with all accessories and everything. I know it would be a lot easier of an install. I have been debating between the LS3/L92 or the LS6. I like the idea of having more displacement for future growth if I want it but I also like that the LS6 is ready to drop in and go. Opinions on that subject (LS3 vs. LS6) are welcome also. I know both have their Pros and Cons.

Currently the car has the stock LS1 with an LS6 intake. I have Long Tube headers for it and plan on having true duels with cutouts fabricated whenever I do the motor swap. My goal is a streetable car with 400 - 450 RWHP. I live in FL, close to the track where they run the 12 hours of Sebring (road race) and would like to run the track once or twice a year. My thoughts were that it would be easier to obtain my HP and street-ability goals with the 6.2 than it would be with the LS6. Specifically, I thought I could get away with a milder cam on the 6.2 which would make it more streetable. I plan to keep it Naturally Aspirated. I don't drag race or street race. It is just a fun/weekend car so I won't be putting a lot of miles on it.
I will be putting on a full BMR suspension with Koni adjustables for the handling aspect.
