Default LS3 Rocker arms??

It seems like the aftermarket for LS3 roller rockers is slim and the ones that are out there are 1.8 instead of 1.7.

I have a lq9 block 404ci build with LS3 heads. Bought the heads without rocker arms and now need some. Completely understand that roller rockers may mean bigger valve covers.

Any suggestions?

I'd recommend stock rocker with bronze bushings, only need rollers over .630" lift If so go with a good shaft mount from jesel or T&D - I'm sure there are other solutions but most aluminum pedestal mount rockers end up breaking.

LS3 rockers with CHE or BTR trunion upgrade will be able to handle what you throw at it.

Also, TSP has 1.72 roller rockers, but I haven't heard much about them.

I'm about to put a set of these on the PRC heads there were on my SS.....gonna put those heads on my '95 Impala.

The TSP rockers, visually, look a lot like the Comp Cams Ultra Pro-magnums.....they feel REAL solid!

Any input on the Comp Ultra Pro-Magnums on LS's? Run them on a couple dirt track car motors I've and never had an issue, thinking about a cam motion low lash solid roller using comps kit.

I do a lot of low lash solid roller camshafts for customers that require adjustable roller rocker arms. I have a lot of experience with the T&D and Jesel shaft mounted aluminum roller rocker arms. Both are excellent. I also have a lot of customers who use the Crower cast stainless steel shaft roller rocker arms for aggressive street to mild race type builds. They get excellent reports as well. The Crowers are also easier to fit under a valve cover.

Some customers use the Harlan Sharp or Yellow Terra rocker arms to save money, but I don't have much experience with those personally.

We keep the T&D rocker arms in stock.

On the topic of valve lift, one of the great advantages of the roller rockers is the ability to add lift. Adding lift can give you a nice increase in power, but you must weigh that against durability if the car sees a lot of street miles. I do a lot a low lash solid rollers for the street with about .690" valve lift. They make excellent power and are a great choice if you don't drive too many miles per year.

Valve covers? Holley talls cover them all and eliminate coil brackets.
