I thought GTO LS2s came stock with 243s. Aren't 823s rect. port? The port numbers get confusing some time. LOL

OP- The GTO never came with #823 rectangular port heads on the LS2 that DID come in the later GTO's. Cathedral only as original equipment.

Mr LS1trex,
You never posted it that way before. We are just trying to help you and find out what you have. I personally would go with a Cam Motion cam IF it was spec'ed by them or anything spec'd by Patrick G using CAM Motion. Why do you want a "truck" cam? Do you just want the bottom end and drive ability? Remember, everyone is just trying to help. We just need to know a little more.

all the cams you listed would be horrible for a truck....you want something with way less duration...their LS3 Stage 1 Cam would be a perfect cam for a truck

LS3 Stage 1 - 212/222 .553/.553 - 116+3

See. This is why everyone is asking questions. I'm glad someone else questioned cams so big for a truck. LOL. Why not contact CamMotion directly and have them spec you your cam based on your requirements. They might have a "off the shelf" cam that meets your needs.

Or if you don't mind the $50. fee, have Pat G. spec you one. Pat G has stellar results with rect. port head ed cams. Either way, stay with CamMotion.
