You will still need the front cover and sensor, as this cam does NOT have the sensor rings on the back end. It is a factory Gen IV cam, and you are putting it into a Gen III engine.

Cams are INTERNAL to an engine, NOT EXTERNAL. Plus, per above, you are asking about a Gen IV application in a Gen III forum. Pay attention to where you post, people.

RevGTO- If you knew what OP was talking about, you would know he is putting a Gen IV cam in an L33 engine, which IS GEN III. And this IS in the INTERNAL forum. Quit being so nit-picky...

The Gen III External forum has really been crammed lately with threads about cams, resleeving blocks, transmissions. etc. - so some refocus on the proper subject matter of each forum is warranted.
