I've been a good boy with the boost in those threads....KCS post has me about to pop but I've resisted thus far lol.

 

I ve been thru the turbo, big blower, and NA ringer. Telln ya, a decent turbo system still gunna cost $$,$$$.$$, unless you can fabricate/weld yourself. And thats assuming you have enough general auto knowledge to at least swap a motor and or all bolt ons. It TRULY comes down to what your end goals and intended uses are! Its just that simple and only in the planning stage. From there its all work and coin.

 

The Huron Speed kit is 2k right now for the group purchase that is bolt on. Say it becomes 4k with import tax....a forged 5.3 liter is MAYBE 5k with import tax. Add a 1000 turbo that has proven itself like VSR. That's 10k for an Aussie setup that'll make 800whp all day and drive like a dream.

Dude if I read that right same **** happened to my wifes dad. He paid a guy to do a build for him. Dude drank all the money. And from other customers too. Sheriff ended up seizing everything. Dozens of motors not started. All the money spend on booze.
