Awesome man your car is going to run 9's n/a. If only you'd chop your cowl and run an LSXHR intake after the MSD to make a comparison. Sorry for trying to use you as a guinea pig before I buy parts myself LOL . But the LSXHR is so tempting, but then i'd have to be mr pro stock hood. We can't win with intakes can we. Or maybe the mamofied MSD is going to surprise us all.
Just looking at it makes me want it.. https://www.lsxceleration.com/fast-l...nifold-146204/

Reason I went & studied surgical procedures.

I am not so sure it will dyno that high.
Talked to enough people. Trap 134.x. DA 5k. My guess was 620 rwhp. Five other experienced builders all said 620. Wallace racing (I know I know) says 640. Dyno 577. I will be thrilled to get 650. Highest NA LS7 ever on this dyno is, and I quote -- I think we had one go over 600...
Just trying to maintain realistic expectations.

Darin and ER gave me the same report with the low ram and x2 4500 top. Gave both this and got my report card back....
Runner Length – 3.45”
As-Cast Runner CSA - Tapered, 4.24 in² at the entry to 2.52 in² at the port flange. Needs to be opened or ported....my Ls7 heads are @ min 2.8 inches....
I need about 2 ¹/² inches to be where they'd like rpm and shift wise... both said, it has the area to make some steam.

What about the FED low pro billet intake that was on that 800whp (STD) ls7 from a few weeks ago?
#1 not rich... I asked ER y he used the Holley Vs the CID..I mis-Qouted the Truthful answer on YB. I said 15 hrs it's more like a work wk to get the CID nice. I was with going with ER recommendation. Then I saw it .... What I've been wanting.... A ram that's not 2 feet from the valley. If you want it sometimes you gotta roll up you sleeves and make it. Or put on your thinking cap in my case....Found the Cathedral adapter 1/2 inch thick and aluminum 4¹/² tubing ID* to extend the runners about 2 1/4 inches. Dual 4500 low profile with a 7800 to 7900 peak RPM.
Out the box as is, it's shifting at 9k with the runner length.
Little short as runner has 2 injectors per runner.

You guys need to be asking what's Chevelle's cooking up? If he get this, the World will thank him....
I'll copy and paste the message from ER&Darin when I get a break... on the intake...it's on YB in the thread I started.

From ER:
Runner length is good for about 9500 or so depending on the runner length in the heads.
Cross section is good for around 7000 depending on the valve size.
Darin:
With that cam, that manifold will match up well but peak power will more than likely be at 8000-8300rpm with that length and taper.
Actually, the more I think about it,,, it's going to hit at 8500 so your shift point will be 9000rpm.

That's a lot of taper for a very short port. Would be interesting. The port flange is about right for 7500. Min in the port needs to be ~2.49 for that rpm, 4.03 x 4.0 x 7500. Being EFI, not sure how my numbers compare on taper and entry
I posted this for Scott Foxwell 2 compare to the low ram° Hi Rams runners are good for 7500.. Scott ports heads and intakes also. Ported a set of 12 degree Ls3 heads and asked my op and to compare to what info I had...
Scott here's the ls7 hi ram runner info...all info is on the site.
Runner Length – 6.29”, As-Cast Runner Cross-Sectional Area – Tapered 4.67 in² to 2.84 in².
No intake specialist but adding 2 to 2 1/2 inches would put me in the ball park. My heads are 2.8 in the port entry as standard issue for Ls7 heads. Open the intake exit and adapter to match. Add length to runners. Done Cheap Low Ram with X2 4500's .
