Success!! I'll post more in a bit. I have vid but will not load from phone.

Scared the **** out of myself. First attempt to start. One pop. Then would not start. Double checked cool subharnesses all good. Tried again no start, but I can tell from the starter sound it's got compression.

Cracked throttle blade and smelled fuel. A ha! Rich! Fired it up went straight to 4K killed it. Unstuck then blade. Running like a champ. Sounds mean as ****. Oddly though, motor doesn't shake.

Stoked!!

Now to figure out how to get the vid to post. Lol

Here it is. Still open headers, have a few things to button up, etc. But man, it sounds like it should. So far, very stoked...

Lmfao! You remembered.

Go look at the last few seconds of the vid in the engine compartment. As nasty as it sounds, engine is not shaking. It is going to scream

I DID notice that, now that you mention it. I replayed it to confirm. It definitely lopes, but not a harsh jolting lope, if that means anything. It sounds GOOD!
Gonna be a BEAST!

Yeah. I used my previous baseline VE tables. Figured they were close. My idle stuff was basically identical to yours. I did borrow some features from your main tables though

Sounds angry but calm at the same time.
A storm is brewing.
Very neat engine bay also.
Will be a beast.
I noticed the rev counter only goes to 7000rpm.
You will be revving off the clock. lol
Good to see you have good oil pressure too.
Which reminds me....

It sounds evil. You have to put an aftermarket tach in it now. How can you be guessing rpm over 7k with this level of engine and especially when the factory tachs aren't even that accurate. Grab an auto meter 3 3/8 tach with external shift light and slap it right in front of the factory tach. Makes it so much easier

I will have to. I been just using a raptor shift light. My tach stops at 6400 anyway.

I appreciate the neat engine bay comment. I kind of think it looks sloppy. I spent a lot of time trying to tuck stuff in and really think it looks cluttered.

I have been revving past this tach for four years. Lol.

I kind of felt the same. It is rowdy but not. You can hear every cylinder fire, but it is not a rattletrap. I was counting on the airspeed of these heads to mechanically tame the cam, and I think it worked. In the sense that it does not seem to misfire due to reversion as bad.

Lots to do today, but stoked.

Talked to tony last night for a good bit. He was pretty happy with the startup. It went pretty easy other than my dumb mistakes. Just like you guys he is excited to hear how the first drive goes.

I apologized to him for being two weeks behind schedule. He laughed.
