And for C6's, the guys with the independent rears that are the fastest run 26's due to gearing for the track. There's nothing available for gears. So it is the norm for them to use tire size to help gearing. But they also do 15" conversions to get some sidewall which helps for the smaller diameter tire.
You can "say it" but I can say I can beat you all day everyday with a 28..... LOL
it liked the extra gearing, same as now. My 427 wants rpm so if I can hook,it should run better on 26"

Either way 26's ftw lol
Lol. You guys should all come to US41 in Morocco, IN in April (4/24). Bunch of LS1tech guys and some locals. Really see how these builds stack up. This will be the 4th year for the rental. And before anybody says it's too far we have had Florida guys come and a group of guys drove 30 Hours from Canada too.
Either way 26's ftw lol

Rental is on a Friday and then Saturday the track runs backwards for a street style event. It's a lot of fun. The track is nice n sticky for the rental and and DA has been really good every year.

I have a fb group online with more details and vids of cads etc. I'll make a thread in srk section soon I've just been lazy. Pm me if you want a link or need any info. Track is very chill too.
Thanks man. I really do appreciate that! I'm not trying to stir the pot on this tire deal but from someone who thought the same exact thing about 26's on my car for years and years, and then finally listened to someone, I sure as hell wish I would have listened sooner! Sure you can make anything work but in the long run when you try a 28 you will honestly never look back....especially on the street. Just sayin'.....

And look, I'm the first to admit I'm a mediocre driver at best, so I don't claim to know how to make the car work. I'm good on the motor. So I don't get upset at all about the thread getting sidetracked.I'll bring it back when I post the start up vid.
I think you can squeeze a 29" in there if you cut the plastic rear bumper skin and also some sheetmetal under it, and move the rear axle back using your adjustable lca's about 1/4" or maybe a little more will be needed for a 29". I did that with my 28's and it def looks like a 29" would work safely (just) without having to modify the front of the 1/4 panels. If you end up needing all the traction you can get , may as well go straight to a 29" but then you might also need to change rear axle ratio.

Man **** these make your own wire kits. It like trying for force a 82 year old pecker into a 22 year old *** without viagra. I lost two evenings screwing with these effing things. At this point it would be faster to have ordered them already made from firecore.
For real, car would be running.
You know why the videos never actually show you getting the boot onto the wire??? I do.
