I dont see it gaining 36 whp off E85 with 11.9:1 compression. You likely will not see much of a gain past E40. Good luck and stellar results. Congrats

Lighter weight oil will pick up a few Darth.
Its thru a T56 twin ceramic clutch , lightened flywheel.
Tuner seems to think itll pick up an easy 20-30rwhp from E85 and ill get him to run it up on the dyno when its 50f instead of 96f like yesterday.....
Thatll get me there, if not who cares, im rapt with it.
Been reading posts over last yr regarding Mamo top end gear, people not acknowledging how good his heads and msd combo are.
Well now on the otherside the world and mamo gear still shows top of the heap. YEP and PLASTIC INTAKES ARE S.H.I.T lol

Ethanol will pick up more in the mid range and at peak cylinder pressure. From my experience the lower the DCR the less return. I would honestly not fool with it, as you have a kick *** piece and the fuel mileage will suck lol I mean your already going to be blowing the tires off at anything below 80mph. Should be a really fun car! Enjoy it.

Im Already planning next stage which will be big *** turbo in spare wheel well space. Will drop a 4.100 ccw crank in, oring the head and run 8-9 psi n see how it goes, This will be early next yr so for now ill book a track day per month and go smash out some laps, will also do 2 sprints at Bathurst and 2 1000m runway sprints, mayb try for a trophy in NA dyno at Red centre Nats.

Man nice build and numbers.
Did you do the RPS clutch or something else? What's it weigh? The clutch.
I'm really curious on what e85 does for power. I haven't seen it pick up a ton yet but I haven't seen it done on a car making big power like this. I'll be using e85/flex fuel and probably c85/specific tune at the track just because I have it around. I went 13.5:1 so I won't be using 93.
As for Mamo's top ends. I don't see much doing better so far. Track and dyno really. They're just not as common because he likes the street car culture. Monster power and drive wherever you want. I'm a little more track oriented. Me and Tony are doing a LS Next 434 for shootouts/grudge style drag racing for my boosted car and both my Mamo top end cars will see plenty of track time. So I think there will be more track info coming up here. Your car, Darth's and a few others.

I have the mantic twin plate ceramic clutch, i dont know how much the lighter flywheel is but compared to the heavy flywheel i have itd have to be 15lbs lighter . Im considering going back to the heavier flywheel. That wont happen until the new haltech computer comes out in a few months due to a little birdy telling me it will be able to control the 8-10 speed autos. If thats the case ill be dropping a 10 speed in.
Whats suprised me is how well it drives with such a big cam. My Mrs even commented how smooth the car felt , and thts huge due to shes scared as gettin in it. ( i like scarin her)
Seeing tho your boosted have a chat with Kirk from Fi interchillers. He,s set up now for turbo's You,ll pick up 40rw using a chiller, thts if you have aircon

He seems a bit conservative with AFR at 12.9 :1 .Would i pick up much if i can get 12.4 : 1??
It was my 1st time tuning and overall it wasnt to bad. Tuner changed a few areas in timing and fuel , mainly around low speed/rpm

Im guessing here. But maybe around 24* or 25* now, and hopefully 28*-29* with e85. Like stated before, at 11.9 compression, mite not realize a whole lot more, but hey, cleanse thy motor occasionally n we ll take any xtra power she ll give! My builder said basically similiar for me at my 427ci and 11.5 CR. For $50, im plumbing in my Sloppy style flexfuel sensor for those occasions.
your car made really great numbers n sounds fun too. Gotta get some Vids up rippin on it. I ve maxd out watchn every LSX NA video on youtube this year

I was doing a video of a run when a police car came out from the darkness in front of me, was up round the 170mph, jumped on the pegs and the go pro launched at high velocity into dash..
Go pro no have go anymore... Just pulled it up to 65mph beside em lol...
Ill get a vid this weekend

Don't mean to be rude, but I doubt very much you will have anywhere near that power figure.
It is extremely difficult to get 500rwkw NA from a 454 especially with only a 239/254 114 LSA camshaft.
670rwhp is just not going to happen.
The dyno must be reading way too high.
A realistic figure would be around the 400rwkw mark.

This is the dyno sheet with ls3 heads and ls3 intake
Engine now has mms ls7 heads , mms msd intake, cam is a 259/265 solid roller, crower solid lifters..... The new engine set a record on MPW's dyno
Maybe you havnt read build specs of this engine, 400rwkw is 536rwhp
I have no reason to fabricate misinformation.....

Power is good for just those modifications man.
If you get 500rwkw with your newer upgrades I would be curious for you run it on my guys dyno to see where it's at.
I have seen these packages from RPM motorsport in the USA and they make around the 420rwkw mark but then again these are LS7 427
Looking forward to seeing some numbers.
How much did it cost for you to get those MMS heads and MMS MSD sent down here with the taxes?

MPW runs the dyno comp at summernats, red centre nats, spring nats.. His dyno is stingy....
Over 12k for heads n intake
After months of research, i put this engine together, ONCE, with parts i purposely chose to get me to 500rwkw. Im short by 12 rwkw and hope to pick that up with E85....
Maybe look into how much hp a lsx 454 can produce with the rite parts

That's crazy expensive.
I will definitely do some research.
Might even start a thread about it.
Look forward to your result.
Please post a dyno sheet with the torque curve also.

500 rwkw is totally believable for this build. On an honest engine dyno, should be an 800 hp build. Figure drivetrain losses to put it in the high 660-700 range, which puts you right there. These mamo 265 heads have the dyno record for many dyno operators. It's pretty amazing how many guys have posted that exact comment on a mamo ls7 headed build
