After 5k miles I planned to switch to a nitrous combo. But after the tear down it was discovered she needed a full rebuild. Kinda crazy because I was still winning races and running solid times. To save $ and aggravation I'm staying all motor again. Bigger intake, bigger headers and lil less weight should knock off some ET.
*I should add the valve guides that come with Brodix heads were worn the fck out and are garbage.
So like the rest of the universe I'm waiting on pistons, CHE valve guides, a few other things, and my engine builder is moving to the Carolinas. I'm probably looking at a late summer/early Fall timeframe.
Glad I bought a dirtbike to get me though the downtime 😆

Same builder. My block and rotating assembly are already down there and hope to be done by Christmas. I've got a few local guys to help with install and button everything up. Unlikely to get engine dyno'd again but have enough Dragy data to fig it all out.

Seems like everyone is heading to Charlotte or Mooresville. I totally understand.

True. It’s likely an employment thing. NASCAR, with the advent of their current generation car, and the way they now mandate spec bodies, chassis, and engines, just put thousands of very well trained…heck, the absolute best guys in the nation, if not the world…out of business. With the current shortage of workers, it would be easier to find quality employees in the engine building capital of the world.
