That is real close to what everyone was quoting except the wider LSA and higher advance to accommodate for the VVT.
Yes we were all close.
Looks good.

Thanks Darth, I am right at that mark with these heads and IVC. The Pat G cam is a little higher

It's not much but here's a little tease, things are starting to come together.

What forging did you go with? 2618 or The low expansion alloy ( edit. 4032)

I believe they are the 2618, Tony spec'd the crank, rods (Manley), Pistons (Wiseco), GFX rings, and King Bearings.

I'll add the clearances and other specs once I get them all compiled. Pistons going in this week. Cam getting degrees as well. I ended up going with the non-VVT CAM Tony recommended. 227/232. 637/610. Things have changed a little. Not going to install this in the Tahoe anymore. Repairing the 383 in the Tahoe and selling it to help fund the 51 panel. This will make the end goal happen much faster.

Mms225x. It is a little mild but the intended use was heavy truck. The ultimate home for this is a daily driven 51 Panel truck that will likely be my primary source of transportation. It was a comprise of earlyish IVC (44.5) and a top rpm in the low 6k as my goals were geared to low end grunt. At 114+3 I may add another 2 degrees to that and bring my IVC closer to 40

While I don’t know about cam specs. The heads should rip on a ls3 416. Best of luck

I believe it will be a nice combo, Tony made a nice setup on my 383 with the 210's. We will see how this pans out

So making some head way on this. Slow but steady. I have a question: my deck clearance is Driver side +.015 and passenger +.012. The question is do I get .051 gasket for both sides or do I order a .048 for the passenger side so my quench is the same?
