Default L92 Cam TSP or BTR?

Camming a L92 and I'm looking at a few different cams.

Both TSP and BTR offer a LS3 Stage 3 NA cams.Dyno charts are very similar, TSP has higher peaks but I can't tell what the bottom to mid are. Wondering if folks have a preference and why.

I'm also considering a cam from Cam MotionReading the description on this cam makes me think I might be going a little too big with this cam, which is weird for me to say but I want to tame this car down enough to enjoy it on the street and still run into the 10's NA and maybe the 9's with a 250-300 nitrous hit. The car is a 3000# '64 nova with 3.73's and 26" tires. it will be thru a 4L80E and I'd like to keep the stall around 3600. I only plan to hit the strip about 5-8 times a year on grudge night so my primary focus will be how she runs on the street. The car previously had a SBC which ran 10.5 NA and into the 9's on a 250 hit... I'd hate to give up on running into the 9's but I will if I have to and honestly it would certainly keep the cost down due to the safety gear/certs which would not be needed..

I guess thinking about it differently I don't have a problem with a stage 4 cam from TSP/BTR either as long as it runs down the road like I want it too. What I noticed about these cams is they really didn't have a material difference at peak over the Stage 3 cams.

IF you want better street manners, go with the Tooley cam.

Cam Motion LS3 Stage 3 227/237 113+3,
MUCH better on the Street and gives up very little at the track.
Just my .02

Forget my previous post. The fourth choice above beats the first three.

I don't want to knock BTR or TSP, but if you order a Cam Motion cam online, they give you free shipping and no taxes. Soooo...you take the cam specs from whomever, enter into Cam Motion's site as a CUSTOM CAM, and you get the cam of your choice for about $30-$40 cheaper.

I was running a cam motion custom grind in my SBC and was happy with it, maybe I'll be heading that way again.

The Titan 3 LS3 is by far our best selling LS3 camshaft. While the Titan King is more powerful by about 5 to 7 horsepower, the Titan 3 is the perfect blend of drivability and power.

So to get the extra 5 to 7 hp, you add 7 degrees of overlap to get to 13. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't even consider the bigger cam. Navyblue knows a little about which he speaks..

Where’s Darth , I’m betting he’d choose the CM cam of those three. Not knocking any of those other cams either.
