The 821’s I have on my bench don't look like that. The throat cut is much shorter. Never been apart.
I guess the general is just inconsistent.

It’s unfortunate to have an issue to begin with, but you are doing a very cost-effective build and you probably would have ended up doing it sooner or later anyway lol.

Well fellas. Shes back! Just need a HorsepowerFactory Tune

Took 2 months to get the headers and x pipe in .. got them in this week. Started today around 4 pm today putting the car back together . Ran into some snags.. losing bolts and stuff lol but its finished.

This engine has insane oil pressure. 70# cold. 60 hot lol

The summit ghost cam in an ls3 sounds amazing.

The milled heads really woke it up . Compression is awesome.

Man, that does sound nice. Did you end up milling the heads .030 or less with that .04 gasket?

I used ls3 head gaskets and milled .030 heads. 3 angle valve job, dual pac .660 springs.

Ohh so you used the stock .051 gasket? Why not mill the heads .020 and use the thinner gasket for better quench? Wouldn't that be better?

Also it seems with that setup you're still slightly above 11.5 compression which is more than 8.7 dynamic with the 43* intake valve closing so how doable is that on pump 93? Anybody, please chime in. Thanks.

This was a budget build. I literally replaced 1 broken rod and the broken ring and threw it back together lol

Stock ls3 head gaskets are cheap. Milling the heads. 001 or .030 costa the same.

My 416 was 12.8:1 and i made 600 wheel on 93 oct. This will he perfectly fine for 93 imo
